Recently, V-SOL released a new xPON ONU with WiFi 6 router HG325AX, which signifies V-SOL’s first step towards to the F5G era.

The dual-band ONU router adopts Realtek Chipset WiFi 6 solution, reaching a maximum speed of up to 1800Mbps, which improves 52% in comparison to its last generation of WiFi 5 ONU. The OFDMA of WiFi 6 is conducive to reducing 75% latency. Each frame of the data structure of the WiFi 5 ONU can only serve one terminal device, but the WiFi 6 ONU is able to transmit data simultaneously to multiple terminals.

Moreover, WiFi 6 ‘s unified scheduling of hibernation and data transmission helps reduce 30% power consumption, which improves the lifetime of the ONU. The built-in signal amplifier FEM powerfully improves the penetration ability of the wall, making the signal cover more corners.

With the excellent WiFi 6 performance, the ONU can also be used in the WiFi Easymesh Solution. It can work as the main router, upward connecting to OLT. The terminal devices like the PC, mobile phone and IPTV can connect to the Internet through slave routers deployed around the house.
